Gain a better understanding of yourself, move towards healing, and experience a flourishing life.
The IPS Center for Psychological Services is committed to providing high quality counseling care from a Catholic Christian worldview of the person, which allows us to take into account your needs on a biological, social, psychological, and spiritual level. At the heart of such treatment is a deep respect for the dignity of each person and a commitment to providing appropriate state-of-the-art services within the context of each person’s unique background and current circumstances.
Are you experiencing difficulties due to life transitions, relationships, past trauma, or mood-related symptoms? Through therapy you can experience a decrease in painful symptoms and an improved sense of wellbeing.
We help children ages 5-10 explore challenges and learn how to manage strong emotions through child centered play therapy.
*We are not accepting new child clients at this time*
Counseling for families focuses on improving communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening relationships within the family unit.
Every relationship will experience conflict at times. Marriage counseling helps couples improve communication skills and learn how to address conflict in a healthy and more effective manner.
We offer a sliding scale for services based on a client’s income and household size. We do not accept insurance of any kind. All fees are due at the time of service.
Services may be reimbursed by your insurance in part or in full if your plan includes “out-of-network” benefits for mental health services. Please consult with your insurance company to determine your benefit options. Your clinician can provide you with a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance company upon request.
The IPS Center is part of the Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program operated by the Institute for the Psychological Sciences of Divine Mercy University. It is a training center for advanced doctoral students in clinical psychology under supervision by licensed clinicians, a model which fosters high quality of care to meet your goals.
